About Us
Spice Creek is a Black-led agricultural enterprise based in Brandywine, Maryland, committed to regenerative farming, ecological land stewardship, and increasing access to nutrient-dense food in the Mid-Atlantic. We grow with care, cultivating vegetables, raising poultry, and stewarding land in ways that honor tradition, center community, and restore balance
Practices
Our farming practices are rooted in natural cycles and shaped by regenerative methods. We use cover cropping, composting, rotational grazing, and conservation tillage to restore soil fertility and reduce dependency on off-farm inputs. Certified Naturally Grown, we focus on nutrient-rich vegetables and pasture-raised poultry that support public health and local economies.

But we’re more than a production farm. Spice Creek is also a training ground. Through workshops, peer learning, and community engagement, we support new and returning farmers—especially Black and Indigenous growers—seeking to deepen their relationship with the land.
